Part II

9. What Is The Second Coming?

Lesson 303

The Holy Christ Is Born In Me Today.114

Watch with me, angels, watch with me today. Let all God’s holy thoughts surround me and be still with me while Heaven’s Son is born. Let earthly sounds be quiet and the sights to which I am accustomed disappear. Let Christ be welcomed where He is at home, and let Him hear the sounds He understands and see but sights which show His Father’s love.115 Let Him no longer be a stranger here, for He is born again in me today.

2. Your Son is welcome, Father. He has come to save me from the evil self I made.

He is the Self that You have given me.

He is but what I really am in truth.

He is the Son You love above all things.

He is my Self as You created me.

It is not Christ that can be crucified.

Into Your world let me receive Your Son.116, [1]

Footnote 114. This lesson was dictated shortly before Christmas. It is dated December 22, 1970 in the Urtext.

Footnote 115. This means “Let Christ be welcomed into the real world, where the sights and sounds reflect His heavenly home.” The implication is that we allow Christ to be born in us when we see with true perception and thus make our minds a welcoming home for Him.

Footnote 116. “Your world” is the real world. See W-301, 1:4: “Let me see Your world instead of mine.”

Personal Notes:

The holy Christ is born in me today. I meditate on above prayer today, and in quiet I wait to hear my Father’s Voice. I pray for all my brothers and myself for continued guidance, wisdom, discernment, protection, and illumination, of The Way, The Truth, The Life, in Christ Jesus, Amen. Thank you for sharing with me. Walk in Love my friend!
