God Is But Love, and Therefore So Am I.

1.  (165)  Let not my mind deny the thought of God.

     God is but love, and therefore so am I.

2.  (166)  I am entrusted with the gifts of God.

     God is but love, and therefore so am I.

Daily Prayer for Review V:

Steady our feet, our Father. Let our doubts be quiet and our holy minds be still and speak to us. We have no words to give to You. We would but listen to Your Word and make it ours. Lead our practicing as does a father lead a child along a way he does not understand. Yet does he follow, sure that he is safe because his father leads the way for him. So do we bring our practicing to You. And if we stumble, you will raise us up. If we forget the way, we count upon Your sure remembering. We wander off, but You will not forget to call us back. Quicken our footsteps now, that we may walk more certainly and quickly unto You. And we accept the Word You offer us to unify our practicing, as we review the thoughts that You have given us. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Let not my mind deny the thought of God. What but our thoughts of misery and death could obscure the perfect happiness and the eternal life our Father wills for us? The thought of God created us is ours eternally. By this we live, it is our source of life, holding us one with it and everything is one with us. In this calm awakening is safety, peace, joy, and quiet rest. Let us not deny Heaven today it is ours for the asking. Let us practice hope today, knowing our doubts are meaningless for God is certain, and the thought of Him is never absent, His love remains beyond our every doubt. I am entrusted with the gifts of God. All things are given us. God’s trust in me is limitless. He knows His Son and gives without exception, holding nothing back that can contribute to our happiness. Yet unless our will is one with His, His gifts are not received. As we remember our Father and His Great Love for us we feel Christ touch upon our shoulder and know we are not alone, that our identity is in Him with Him as one. The gifts are not for us alone but entrusted to our care to give to all who chose the lonely road we have escaped. We teach them by showing them the happiness that comes to those who feel the touch of Christ and recognize God’s gifts. Help us Father not to allow sorrow to tempt us to be unfaithful to your trust, but to become living proof of what Christ touch can offer everyone. In Jesus name, Amen. Thank you for sharing with me.
